Thank you for volunteering!
For logistics questions (roster, flyers, t-shirt), please contact your usual point of contact. We will try to answer some common questions here but please ask if you have any others.
What do I need to do?
- Make sure your phone is fully charged.
- Follow all instructions from Australian Electoral Commission officials in purple or fluoro vests.
- You can’t display party logos inside the polling place, so if you need to go in (to vote or use the bathrooms) cover up your Fusion t-shirt.
- Dress for comfort in all weather – the forecast for election day is 18°C with showers.
- Bring a water bottle and snacks.
- Feel free to bring a chair.
- Take a break whenever you need to.
Don’t forget to vote!
What do I say while offering a flyer?
Say “Vote 1 Fusion” as much as you can! Depending on the mood, try:
“Vote 1 Fusion for climate action!”
“Vote 1 Fusion for transparent government!”
“Vote 1 Fusion for long term planning!”
Few voters ask about policies, and it’s fine to say you’re not sure if anyone asks a question you’re not sure of the answer to. If someone has a question and they can’t find the answer on https://www.fusionparty.org.au, feel free to call Andrea Leong on 0490 134 827.
We’re all friends here
A great thing about election day is the camaraderie between people with differing political views. If you need any support or advice, speak with the AEC officials. You can also call Andrea Leong on 0490 134 827 or Michael Maroske on 0403 991 110.
After Party!
Join us at Summer Hill Hotel from 6:00pm.
Address: 1 Lackey St, Summer Hill NSW 2130 (Google Maps).
